Kabul (Afghanistan) – In the last two days 5 local national children have been injured by multiple IED bombings in southern Helmand province, ISAF says.
On Wednesday 2 children were injured in Musa Qala district and today another 3 children were injured in Sangin district.
In both cases the children were taken to ISAF military bases for help before being taken to other ISAF medical facilities for medical treatment.
In October a UN report stated that IEDs had killed 340 civilians and wounded 599 others in the first 9 months of this year.
