15-years-old boy lost a leg & hand in Kandahar landmine blast

Kabul – A 15-years-old Afghan boy stepped on a landmine planted by Taliban in Panjwai district of Kandahar province today.

As a result of the explosion of the landmine, the boy lost his one leg and one hand.

According to Kandahar Media Office, the boy was visiting his family gardens when he stepped on the landmine planted around the gardens.

The young boy was taken to a military hospital attached to Afghan National Army’s 205th Atal Corps.

In another incident in the same district overnight, an 8-years-old boy was wounded with a bullet round shot by the Taliban during a combat with Police forces.
